MOVEMBER
This year, the Waikato Chamber of Commerce are taking part in Movember. Movember is an annual event during the month of November to raise awareness of men's health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men's suicide.
We are encouraging Waikato Businesses to join us in raising money and awareness. Here's how you can get involved!
WAIKATO BUSINESS MO BRO SHOWDOWN
Waikato Business Mo Bro Showdown is the ultimate Movember challenge where local businesses in the Waikato region compete to grow the most impressive moustaches and raise the most money for a good cause.
Over the course of the month, participants will channel their inner Mo, with each business striving to outdo the others in both facial hair finesse and fundraising. The challenge culminates in a long lunch, where we'll celebrate the efforts and crown the champions of the Best Mo and Most Money Raised. It’s all about camaraderie, a little friendly competition, and making a difference in men's health.

Register yourself or your team on the Movember website and join our Challenge Waikato Business Mo Bro Showdown.

Indicate your involvement in this challenge and submit a clean shaven photo by 23 October to events@waikatochamber.co.nz
Start growing your Mo! - 24 October
Submit your grown mo photo - 20 November
Voting opens - 21 November
Voting closes - 28 November

WAIKATO BUSINESS MO BRO SHOWDOWN LONG LUNCH
The challenge culminates in a long lunch on 28 November at Tieke Golf Estate. At this event, we'll celebrate the efforts and crown the champions of the Best Mo and Most Money Raised. It’s all about camaraderie, a little friendly competition, and making a difference in men's health. Anyone is welcome to register for this lunch, not just those businesses registered for the Movember challenge!
